How we work

We believe that one of the most important drivers for success In the services industry, is "How you do things" rather than "What you do". This is why we invest alot in technology and we work hard to improve the internal processes to reach operational excellence.

Recruiment and Selection

Prior to undertaking any recruitment project, a meeting between our team and key individuals within the prospect companies takes place with the purpose of clarifying various aspects for both parties. The first thing we need from our prospects is to describe their organizational structure and corporate culture and, further on, to communicate us the expectations from the position that needs to be filled in. Following the initial meeting, our team starts a pro-active research on the company's competitors, overall market knowledge and identifies the candidates with the most suitable skills. Based on the data gathered from our research and from the client, we determine the timeline and the most effective way of approach and we are ready to get the project moving.

The recruitment process often proves to be the most laborious part of a project, but we try to smoothen it by intensifying the communication with our Clients. The recruitment process most frequently consists of contacting the prospect Candidates, establishing interviews with them and determining if the Candidate's culture, behavior, skills and background match the company's needs. During this stage we work closely with the Client to arrange all interview schedules and coordinate logistics, including travel and hotel arrangements, if needed. The recruitment process is completed the moment we present the Client a shortlist including 3 Candidates for each vacant position, together with the evaluation reports for each Candidate and the references upon our Client's request. During the recruitment stage, we try as much as we can to keep Client be informed with each step of our work.

The stage of selection and integration starts with the setting up of the second interview with each Candidate from the shortlist, to be held by a Client's representative, in the presence of one People First consultants. After the Client communicates us the names of the selected Candidates, we work together on the employment offer that will be handed to the Candidate by our company on the behalf of our Client. If needed, we can offer to the Client advice on the compensation package, relocation package, benefits, etc. After closing the project, we try to assess its success by maintaining regular contact with both the Client and the Candidate.

Management Assessment

The first stage of any management assessment initiative is the basis of the entire project and consists of gathering all the information that could help us get an objective and accurate overview of the current management system.  A desktop analysis will examine any possible documented source of information. A series of interviews conducted at the company's headquarters and during the visits in the company's secondary locations or subsidiaries, will reveal more. All the data provided within the Management assessment project are the object of a confidentiality agreement which is included in the contract and are treated as strictly confidential.

A typical assessment initiative will include three phases:

  1. Planning of the Assessment. After looking over the collected data and estimating the assessment's complexity degree, together with our Client, we will draw-up the time plan of the project.

  2. Data analysis and preparation of the Assessment report. It is the longest and the most strenuous stage of the project. The final product is a report comprising the main strengths and areas for improvement identified by the assessors within the company, in comparison with the widely recognized management practices of the EFQM model for Excellence in Business.

  3. Submission of the report. After being finalized, the assessment report is handed over to the company's representatives. At this stage, the assessors are available for offering any additional clarifications regarding the comments included in the report and for proposing specific actions for the company's improvement if agreed beforehand.
